If you thought Florida couldn’t surprise you anymore, think again. Our latest true crime story dives into two hilarious stories that will leave you with your jaw dropped and grabbing your sides. From a foul-mouthed man causing chaos in the Florida Keys to a woman calling the police over stolen weed, these tales are as wild as they come.
First, let’s journey to the Florida Keys, where a 67-year-old man named Walter Frank Camp turned a routine traffic stop into a scene straight out of a bizarre comedy. Driving a stolen Kia SUV, Walter was pulled over for speeding and illegal passing. But what should have been a straightforward arrest quickly spiraled out of control. With an open beer can in the car and the smell of marijuana in the air, Walter decided to put on a show. He dropped his pants, exposed himself to passing drivers, and unleashed a torrent of threats that ranged from killing and raping the arresting officer’s family to claiming he would “fuck your dog in the ass.” And if that wasn’t enough, he began howling like a dog, causing undue stress to K-9 Mako. Walter’s antics earned him a slew of charges, including DUI, vehicle theft, and indecent exposure. His bond was set at $72,500, but honestly, it feels like it should have been much higher.
Next, we head to Stuart, Florida, where 23-year-old Lily Rinker found herself in a sticky situation. At 2 a.m., Lily called the police to report that her friend Carlos had stolen half a gram of weed from her. When officers arrived, they discovered Lily had outstanding warrants for missing a court hearing and a probation violation. Oh, and she had previously punched her father in the face for posting a picture of her holding a vape online. Despite her attempts to appear innocent, Lily was arrested and held on no bond. This story serves as a reminder that sometimes, calling the police isn’t the best idea.
These stories are just a glimpse into the wild world of Florida crime. Whether it’s the outrageous behavior of Walter or the questionable decisions of Lily, the Sunshine State never fails to deliver jaw-dropping tales. If you’re intrigued by these stories, make sure to listen to the full episode for all the details.
