In the latest true crime story, we delve into a deeply troubling case that raises more questions than answers. On March 11, 2024, a mother picked up her month-old baby from the father’s house, only to find the infant severely injured. The father, 19-year-old Steven Nichols, claimed that an iPad had accidentally fallen on the child, causing the injuries. But how plausible is this explanation?
The mother’s immediate concern led her to take the baby to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where the medical staff discovered a horrifying array of injuries: bilateral skull fractures, significant brain injury, fractures in both femurs, rib fractures, spinal bleeding, and burns on the buttocks. The medical professionals were unequivocal—these injuries could not have been caused by an iPad.
As the investigation unfolded, Nichols was brought in for questioning. Despite the overwhelming medical evidence, he denied all allegations, stating that it wasn’t fair to say he hurt his child.
In this episode I also read your comments and an interview update on a past case.
