Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Love and Murder. Strap in for today’s story as we go across the pond to the town of Blackburn, Lancashire in the U.K.
While it’s debatable if someone wants babies, we can all agree we find them exceedingly adorable. It’s hard to imagine somebody wanting to harm one.
This is why it’s all the more heartbreaking when I come across a case where a baby dies – and in this case, it’s not just one. It’s the perplexing case of Jordan Monaghan Right now on Love and Murder.

Now, on to the show…
Introduction
Born in July 1991, Jordan Monaghan was a resident of Blackburn Lancashire. He wasn’t what you call a bright student, but he did okay for himself. Jordan struggled with anger management, and he had behavioral issues when he was small.
Now, Blackburn is a small county, so everyone here knows everyone. Some of you live in small towns and know how that is. Is it annoying to you or do you find it comforting? Jordan was remembered for setting fire to the church when he was little. This was in retaliation to something the pastor had said, but it’s unclear if it was intentional or not.
As a teenager, he fell in love with the prettiest girl in class, Laura Gray. The two got engaged in 2008 after dating for a while. Jordan had proposed to her when she was only 16, and it was just so romantic as she recalls, he got down on one knee and she agreed marry him.
Laura got pregnant in 2011 and their first child was born on 17th November 2011 and at 19 years old, Jordan became a father to little Logan. Laura had just turned 18 years old at the time. A perfectly independent little guy from what his mom says, Logan was a pleasant, sweet little baby who loved to dance, and his favorite song was Troublemakers by Oliver.
In the U.K, they follow the Cambridge system, where the junior high is O levels and senior high is called A levels. Jordan was unable to complete his A levels and changed course to go to work in construction instead.
The couple rented a small house on Chapel Street in Blackburn, and little Logan filled their lives with colors and love.
Shortly after Logan was born, Laura was surprised when she tested positive for pregnancy again!
Unfortunately, Laura and Jordan’s relationship was strained because of money. Usually the main thing that stresses many couples and Jordan had a real problem.
Their financial situation was caused by him gambling away any real money they made, resulting in a financial crunch for the family. His irresponsible spending habits drove Laura to an ultimatum. On 23rd September 2012, she told him she would leave him if he didn’t stop gambling. The two were on the verge of divorce when later that day, Jordan called Laura to tell her Logan had swallowed some paracetamol. That’s basically Tylenol or, as some people call it – I don’t know who but – Panadol. If ingested in large quantities, it can be fatal.
Strange Disease
Thankfully, the baby survived this and because of this close call, it brought them back together, relieved to find their baby alive.
As hard as Jordan tried, he couldn’t completely quit gambling so the fights continued… but coincidentally, whenever they had a serious fight, Logan had some medical emergency and Jordan would really step up for his wife and son. This always melted Laura’s anger away and she realized nobody could be such a good father to her baby… so she would sort of end up giving Jordan just one more chance.
When Logan turned one, the couple welcomed their daughter, Ruby on 8th December 2012.
It was the last week of December, Ruby had fallen sick and Laura had a tough month…between giving birth to little Ruby and taking care of Logan, she was exhausted. Looking after a newborn can be hard… add to it the stress and troubles of a sick newborn baby, she really needed some assistance. Jordan realized that and came to her help as she was rocking the baby in the living room. He asked her to take some much-needed sleep.
There was so much turbulence in their marriage that Laura readily accepted this much-needed comfort from her partner.
Tragedy struck at night when Jordan realized his infant daughter wasn’t breathing. He woke up Laura, told her what happened and they rushed her to the hospital during the early hours of 29th December. The baby was diagnosed with early Bronchiolitis. According to Webmd, “Bronchiolitis is a common lung infection among infants. It can cause coughing, wheezing, and a hard time with breathing. While most cases can be treated at home, it’s also the leading reason infants are admitted to a hospital.”
Adults can get it, too, but it’s very rare and usually related to other infections or injuries.
After two days in the hospital, the doctors sent her home as she seemed to have recovered significantly.
Ruby’s condition seemed aggravated by some type of an allergy because the chest infection wasn’t severe enough to cause her asphyxiation.
It was 31st December, the last day of the year.
Laura brought her baby home and laid her in what they call a Moses basket. It’s sort of like a bassinet but with foldable adjustable legs. She kissed Ruby goodnight as Jordan sat to keep watch on her in the living room.
That was the last goodnight kiss for baby Ruby… around 2:00 am, a frantic Jordan called Laura for help. When she went to the baby basket, the Ruby was covered with a blanket. The little baby wasn’t breathing and her face had turned dark.
Paramedics were called at the National Health Service number, 111, (911 in the US) but they were unable to revive her. Rushed to the hospital, the 24-day-old baby was pronounced dead on 1st January 2013, at 2:45 am.
The loss of Ruby was too much for Laura. Ruby hadn’t even smiled yet. She hadn’t even seen her mom clearly. She didn’t even get to say Mama or take her first step.
But one thing bothered Laura… Ruby was covered with a blanket. If a baby isn’t breathing, your first instinct is to uncover them and lift them up. Maybe Jordan was in shock and wasn’t thinking clearly?
Fights
The couple’s relationship became tense, with Logan the only light of their life.
Jordan became increasingly agitated with his family, and his behavior slowly became abusive over the course of only a few months.
Maybe it was the trauma of losing a child, but he was gambling more than ever now. Logan had a lot of love and attention from his dad, but things between the couple were fragile.
The summer of 2013 was full of fights and verbal abuse for Laura and she had just had enough. Things were getting out of hand. Bills were left unpaid, and any savings hidden anywhere in the house disappeared when Jordan found out about them.
Laura tried to end their relationship in July 2013 and on queue, the very next day Jordan called her, telling her Logan had gone limp. He was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong with him. He seemed to recover with some oxygen. They diagnosed a respiratory infection. Once again, this incident brought them back together.
Are you guys seeing a pattern?
On August 16th, 2013, as Laura was checking her mail, she was stunned to find a £2,000 ($2400 US) credit card debt from gambling. She confronted Jordan and they had a huge fight. He slept on the couch that night.
The next morning, Laura saw him withdraw another £300 ($365 US) at an ATM from a hidden bank account. Guys! He had a hidden bank account! This time, Jordan admitted he had a secret account but denied gambling. Laura realized that’s where the rent money went, and that they were about to be evicted.
This time, she told him very calmly that the relationship truly was over. No ifs and or butts. No matter if either one of them got sick. It was done.
Jordan begged and pleaded, even got violent but Laura stood her ground. Enough was enough!
The events of August 17th
Jordan took 21-month-old Logan to a Waves swimming pool. Laura thought it was to blow off some steam, following their intense argument and he suggested she get some sleep. The strange thing was, Jordan hated swimming and had never gone before. But Laura thought he was being flexible as a dad.
CCTV footage showed Jordan paying the entry fees to the pool while Logan waved his hands in the stroller. The man then proceeded to go straight to a changing room instead of going in the water.
Jordan spent a good 27 minutes in the changing room with his son. Damn, how long does it take to change a baby? When he came out, the stroller’s rain cover hid Logan inside. Interesting thing was that it wasn’t a rainy or particularly sunny day, but Jordan had the rain guard up for some reason.
He went home around 2:45 pm. Pushing the stroller against a wall in a corner, he went up to his wife and told her something was wrong with the baby but he was sleeping. Laura was much calmer after some rest, and the two had dinner, agreeing that Jordan would leave after dinner. He went out a few times running errands, then finally when he was leaving to get a pizza, he asked Laura to wake up Logan from his nap.
When Jordan left, Laura was busy with some housework, and around 5:30 pm, went to check on her son… and her world crumbled. They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but for Laura, her life was at a standstill as she found her baby dead. His face looked exactly like his sister’s, and the trauma left Laura shell-shocked.
When Jordan returned to see Laura frantic and his son unresponsive, Jordan tried CPR, called 111 (911), but to no avail.
The 21-month-old was rushed to the Royal Blackburn Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Once again, there was no apparent cause of death except maybe he was developing a chest infection.
Once more, the tragedy brought the couple back together.
What happened to the babies?
Local tv channels interviewed Jordan about the loss of his child and he begged for answers. To quote Jordan, he said “It feels like history is repeating itself, everything has been taken from us”
In August 2013 an inquest attributed Ruby’s death to bronchiolitis and Logan’s cause of death remained ‘unascertained’. What was this mystery disease that killed their children? It couldn’t be SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome) because the parents were careful and watched Ruby at the time of her death.
Dr. Gauri Batra, the hospital’s pathologist suggested perhaps hyperthermia might have caused the baby’s death, since many young parents tend to put on too many layers on babies. Over-heating, or hyperthermia does not leave signs post-mortem.
Jordan and Laura had to undergo genetic tests to see whether the deaths were caused by a hereditary condition. Everything appeared normal.
Another Baby
They remained close and started dating again in July 2015. They had another child on 13th May 2016, although the child’s name has been withheld in all documents and public proceedings. She was born ten months after Laura and Jordan reconciled.
However, I dug a little deeper and went over the British Court of Appeals’ public declarations and found that her name, but we are only posting it in our Patreon. Things were fine, except on 18th September 2016, during a small celebration for the baby, Laura found her husband recklessly gambling on a fruit machine. A fruit machine of all things! LaMs, what the hell is a fruit machine? LOL I don’t gamble and wouldn’t know what that it is.
She threatened to end their relationship since he couldn’t stop himself from throwing their money away. He was allowed to see the baby but had to leave the house. After Jordan moved out, Laura was civil towards him, but it would take her some time to trust him again.
Almost ten days later, on 27th September, Jordan was visiting. He was in the living room with the baby when he suddenly screamed for Laura. She ran downstairs to him holding their baby in his arms. Four-month-old baby had turned dark and couldn’t breathe, eyes shut. He performed CPR while Laura called the EMS and the baby recovered in time. Once again, there seemed to be nothing wrong with the child. Given their children’s history, the baby was under observation for two days before being discharged. Jordan insisted he had found her choking. Nah man, as a mother, I would have reviewed every single ounce of scenarios in my head. I would have then questioned, why did something always happen to my kids when they were in Jordan’s care; nothing ever happened when they were in my care.
Anyway, on 2nd October 2016 Laura left her daughter with Jordan so he would look after her while she ran errands. She got a call from him to come back quickly as the child wasn’t breathing anymore. See what I’m saying? Fortunately, paramedics were on time and found a barely conscious child. With oxygen, she recovered within minutes. This time she remained in the hospital for nine days. The couple parted ways permanently because social services got involved. It only took almost 3 children dying. The baby was taken into foster care.
First Arrest
In January 2018 Lancashire Police reviewed the deaths of both children and launch a double murder investigation, Operation Mayford. Jordan was arrested but then bailed for further questioning. I don’t understand why he needed to be bailed out for questioning…
Neurologists, genetic experts, cardiologists, and pediatricians were consulted on the matter, and they all agreed; there seemed to be no natural explanation for the children’s deaths or the baby’s condition. While there were no signs of physical trauma, the most plausible explanation was they were smothered to death.
Around that time, while out on bail and awaiting trial, Jordan met a woman named Evie Adams. Their relationship was passionate but violent. There was love and there was anger, it was volatile. Sound familiar?
Evie Adams
Before we go further, let me tell you about Evie Adams. Born in 1996, she had been taken into foster care at 7 years old.
Yvonne and Bernard Adams had gotten a call one night about a couple of foster children. It was only for a few days… but those children never left. One of them was Evie Adams, and she was like their own child. She loved her foster parents and they felt the same way. She always told Yvonne that they would never end up in an old home because she would take care of them.
Evie had dated her first boyfriend for four years. Bernard and Yvonne approved of the young man, even when Evie ended up having his daughter. They supported the young mom, with her decision to part ways with her boyfriend. She was an independent girl and they gave her the confidence to navigate through life on her own terms.
In 2018, when Evie was 22 years old, she was struggling with her breakup. It had been emotionally draining for her.
That’s when she met Jordan. Her parents found her being extremely secretive about who she was dating. This was odd for Evie, who was an open book to them.
Bernard Adams heard she was dating someone, and he went, “What about it?” the person was silent. At first, the community members were hesitant to say anything to the Adams about Jordan. He inquired, he was curious. Who was this man? The couple felt that he had been the cause of Evie’s breakup since they had seen him sneaking out of her room one morning, looking like he’d spent the night. This was before her breakup with her ex.
Slowly, the Blackburn community members told them about his violent past and the murder allegations. Alarmed, they warned Evie against this man. This was met with resistance from Evie, and though the family was close-knit, she would never tell them about the nature of their relationship.
Finally on April 18th, 2018, Jordan was interrogated regarding the deaths of his children. He denied anything to do with their deaths. In May 2018, a 12-month non-molestation order was issued against him. It was in context to an incident regarding Evie’s daughter. Jordan had a huge fight with Evie about her ex, and had threatened to burn down her house regardless that her daughter was in it. A young single mom, Evie was easily manipulated and she got back together with Jordan.
Now, listeners, this isn’t just a red flag; it’s a whole red TENT with a banner saying something is definitely wrong with this guy.
You can’t blame Evie I guess, she was in love and a lot of domestically abused women can’t seem to break free of their abuser. I wouldn’t call it Stockholm syndrome, but you get it right? Something they just can’t shake off.
He breached the court order by meeting her in June 2018, December 2018, and March 2019. These are just incidents where he got caught.
In January 2019, police stopped a car with Jordan and Evie in Blackburn. Aware of the court order, Jordan claimed Evie was ‘some bird he’d just met’ and told officers they were on their first date.
Jordan appeared at Blackburn Magistrate’s court where he was given a 12-week sentence and was suspended for 12 months.
As a result of these breaches (many of them to which Evie consented to), she lost custody of her daughter who was considered in danger. Jordan’s 12-week order expired in May 2019 and the couple was in a legally consenting relationship once more.
The degree of manipulation it must have taken, I can only imagine. Evie lost her daughter because of this man, yet she was unwilling to break up with him.
There were some fights, and the abuse gradually worsened. While there weren’t physical fights, the emotional damage was huge. Despite support services, social services, and police intervention, Evie was manipulated into staying with Jordan.
Near the end
Towards September 2019, Evie was ready to stand up for herself and possibly leave Jordan.
The couple decided to travel and have a small weekend away from the county to sort things out on October 11th. They were accompanied by friends Kimberly Edwards and Jamie Rasheed and were traveling in a caravan, sort of a camper/trailer thing. On Sunday, the friends witnessed them get into a huge fight.
Evie tried to break up with Jordan, while he accused her of do0ubting him. He claimed she thought he was cheating on her, while she simply wanted out of the relationship because of the volatile ups and downs they had.
On getting home, she texted him “we’re done” and started googling one-bedroom apartments to rent in Blackburn.
They had the same pattern. Fight, breakup then kiss and make up. They made up by Tuesday, October 15th. However, Evie’s search history would indicate she was still looking for rental properties.
Two days later, Evie started feeling sick. She complained of a stomachache.
On October 19th, Kimberley, Evie, Jamie, and Jordan were just hanging out at Evie and Jordan’s home. Kimberely was on a facetime call with her grandmother on October 19th. Being a qualified nurse she asked if she could help. Evie said she didn’t want to take painkillers as she didn’t like medicine or drugs, and maybe she just had stomach flu.
Jamie saw Jordan give Evie something out of a brown glass bottle. This seemed strange because prescription drugs are now handed out in small plastic bottles that are at least labeled. It’s been years since medicine was dispensed in glass bottles.
The friends left. The next day, the couple went to stay at Evie’s aunt’s house in Hazel Close, Blackburn. She told Kimberly she felt sleepy and dazed all the time. She was drowsy and lethargic.
Evie texted Jordan, “I feel like I am dying.” Jordan got an appointment for Evie from Oakenhurst Surgery.
Jordan said he was unable to take her to her appointment and obviously Evie couldn’t go by herself so She stayed in bed that day.
On October 21st Jordan called EMS saying Evie had been vomiting for four days and was dizzy. They got an appointment at St. Ives Medical Centre. Evie failed to show up for her appointment yet again.
October 22nd, Evie texted a friend about how Jordan insisted not to go and see a doctor. He believed he could help her get better instead.
Now my question is – I know Jordan isn’t taking her to the hospital, and she can’t take herself because she’s so sick, but why didn’t one of her friends take her? Maybe they weren’t aware of the extent of her illness?
Evie canceled a night out with Kimberley since she was unwell. Jordan called 111 again with Evie’s symptoms – Dizziness, vomiting, blurred vision, disorientation, and abdominal pain. Oddly, when 111 called back twice, the calls were unanswered.
Around 10:10 pm that night, there was a text from Evie’s phone to Jordan and it said, “I took all them tablets u gave me today as well as just took 10 cocodamol and 8 paracetamol because I don’t want to live no more nd il carry on taking more”.
The next day, there were more texts. He asked her if she still wanted to kill herself to which she replied, “Yes. Am I allowed burgers?” Weird conversation, especially since Jordan did not seem particularly discouraging of the idea. Evie told a friend he got a doctor’s appointment for her. But there was no record of the appointment.
Events of October 24th
On October 24th, 2019, Evie was seriously ill and in need of emergency medical treatment. Jordan proceeded to take her phone and laptop and drove away from their house.
A message from Evie’s phone to Jordan, around 3 pm read ‘Jordan I don’t want to be here anymore. I’ve taken some drugs and I don’t want help” This was sent at a time when Jordan was in the house. It appears that despite this alarming text, Jordan left the house at 6 pm.
Would you just leave someone if they were at risk for suicide? Who does that? Evie was home alone with her Aunt Dawn Bevan. Around 8 pm, when her Aunt went to check on her, she immediately called 999 for an ambulance.
Though Dawn tried CPR, it was to no avail since Evie was gone. Her lips were a ghastly blue color… an eerily familiar look.
Police arrived at the scene to gather evidence and speak with Jordan. He returned home to find the paramedics. The devastated boyfriend cried and explained she had taken four zopiclone and two tramadols that morning. He also said she had blister packets of tablets, though none were recovered at the scene.
A post-mortem on 28th October revealed that Evie had died due to an overdose. She had consumed a range of broadly sedative drugs (Diazepam and Pregabalin) in the days leading up to 24 October and then, on 24 October, had consumed a fatal dose of up to 20 50mg Tramadol tablets in the hours before her death. The effect was bad because of the residual sedative drugs in her system. There was no evidence of gastrointestinal disease to explain the stomach pain that she had experienced in the week before death.
Jordan insisted his girlfriend had committed suicide. He put up Facebook posts, missing her very publicly.
Police launched a detailed investigation into the matter, not entirely convinced this was a suicide. Things just didn’t add up. His statements were not consistent with what Evie’s friends said and the texts she had sent to Kimberley.
Kimberley didn’t trust Jordan. She went to visit him at Hazel Close, where he was still living with his parents. It was 6th November and they were preparing for Evie’s funeral.
Kimberley noticed that Jordan would abruptly shut his laptop whenever she approached, despite claiming to be working. He also spent time printing documents and then searched through a bag of Evie’s things, saying that he wanted to place a photo of himself and her in the coffin. As Jordan opened the back of the picture frame, two letters fell out, causing him to appear distressed. Since Jordan was so upset, Kimberley offered to read the letters first, but Jordan refused. The letters were written by Evie, one addressed to her daughter and the other a suicide note.
Investigation
When police interviewed Jordan, they asked him about a Whatsapp group and contact between Tom Bank and Ben Grundy. Jordan told them that they had the wrong idea. First off, he was in contact with Tom and Ben to plan a party in October and he didn’t know what they were talking about when they were referring to a Whatsapp group. I mean, anyone could have used my phone which was automatically logged into his online profile. Those dastardly people used his phone to make calls and buy drugs. I mean – I just say no officer, just like McGruff the crime dog taught me. Wait no – that’s in the US. Whatever yall had in the UK LOL.
After some investigation, police felt that they had enough evidence to arrest Jordan and that’s just what they did.
In January 2021, Jordan was arrested and charged with the two counts of attempted murder, two counts of cruelty to a child, and one count of murder. Investigation and the trial had revealed the true story. Starting on October 17, 2019, Jordan began searching for prescription drugs on the black market. He sent multiple messages over several days to a WhatsApp group called ‘UK Tablets’, requesting gabapentin, zopiclone, and diazepam. If you recall, this was the time when Evie started complaining about stomach pain.
When Jordan had set up her doctor’s appointment on the 21st, he had messaged UK Tablets 8 minutes later asking, “You got blues mate?” referring to the diazepam. She failed to meet her doctor while the next day Jordan had apparently seen a doctor.
At the doctor’s appointment, he reported feeling down and requested a prescription for zopiclone to aid in sleeping. Despite not being diagnosed with depression, the doctor provided Jordan with a one-week prescription for the medication, which he picked up from the pharmacy. Let’s hold a minute here – when you actually want to be healed naturally by a doctor (and I’m not talking about all doctors here AND I’m only talking about my experiences) when you want to be healed naturally you get all kinds of hold ups or “I don’t know what’s wrong” responses etc. All HE had to do was go in and say “hey I need pills” and he got it same day? That’s INSANE!
This was around when Jordan contacted the medical helpline 111, stating Evie’s symptoms then went on to ignore two calls from the service.
Over the next week, Jordan, who was purchasing and selling illegal prescription drugs, got Tramadol, Diazepam, and Pregabalin. He poisoned Evie with a mixture of these drugs. Evie had no idea what the drugs were, but Jordan lied to her that they would make her feel better. She became progressively ill, believing she had “stomach flu.” Pretending to do everything he could to help, including attempting to arrange for a medical examination, Jordan resisted any efforts to contact doctors or seek medical assistance. He ignored calls from the doctor’s office and NHS 111. As a consequence, Evie was in excruciating pain.
The series of WhatsApp messages with the group continued on the 23rd while Cell-phone and traffic camera footage placed Jordan headed to North West, across the county to get drugs.
The day Evie died, October 24th, Jordan set up a meeting with a member of the UK Tablets group and traveled to Bolton while she lay dying at home.
Remember those suicide notes they found? Well, experts also determined that those letters were forged.
Of course, Jordan pleaded not guilty on all accounts during the trial.
Also, Remember when I said Jordan had told police that those Whatsapp messages and social media messages weren’t from him? Well during the trial – on Monday, November 29, 2021 – He admitted to the judge that he lied. He stated all of those messages did come from him (duh), but the drugs were not used to kill Evie; they were for recreational purposes for himself.
The defending attorney, Ben Myers QC, asked Jordan why he lied and decided to tell the truth now.
“Because the police were out to get me in my view, so I did not want to admit buying drugs, so I lied.
Because it was hard to get out of the lie. But eventually I knew I had to tell the truth.”
Attorney: “When you got drugs, did that have anything to do with Evie Adams?”
Jordan: “No. Never”
On December 17, 2021, after a 10-week trial at Preston Crown Court, Jordan was convicted of all three murders.
The judge carrying out the sentence said that Jordan was responsible for three murders, two of which were infants dependent on him for their well-being. Even Evie trusted him completely and took drugs from him. The seriousness of his offenses pointed to him being a serial killer, enjoying smothering little children as there was some degree of planning and premeditation.
It takes a long time to smother a person, it’s not like the movies at all. I can’t imagine how it would be to kill a helpless baby, not to mention your own.
Jordan was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 40 years in prison.
Of course, the jerk appealed his sentence. His lawyer (or barrister as they are called in the UK) argued that the two attemped murders of a child, and two murders of his own children should have been tried separately from the murder of Evie. How – still asking – HOW do lawyers live with themselves. I guess in a nice 3 car garage 10 bedroom house. Anyway, the barrister said, “There were two distinct strains of fact in this case… they should not have been tried together in the first place. These are entirely different sets of facts coming out of different investigations.”
Three Court of Appeal judges in London gave him and his lawyer the finger and dismissed his appeal stating, The “Trial proceeded fairly.”
In fact, the court told the jurors that the evidence dealing with the children against Jordan could be used in a limited way in the trial dealing the Evie Adams.
The barrister argued that it was “unlikely, if not cognitively improbable” that the jurors would dismiss this evidence and focus solely on what was going on with the case of Evie.
In response, the Judge said, “yea well sucks to be you. Matter of fact, just for putting this idiocy in front of me, I’m giving your client 8 extra years.”
“We have no reason to doubt that the trial proceeded fairly.”
The judges also rejected the challenge over the jury’s use of the other evidence when considering their verdict on Evie’s death.
“We have to assume that the jury did abide by those directions.”
And seriously, they gave Jordan 8 extra years. His sentence was changed to life in prison with a minimum of 48 years. LOL Damn
Aftermath
Laura found some closure meeting Evie’s family. It was chilling for her to think this could have been her had she not gotten out of the relationship in time. She is currently with a new partner, a stairlift engineer named Andy Chambers. The broken-hearted mother finds comfort in holding her children’s toys and clothes and wishes to have more children one day. It took her a long time to trust men again. I couldn’t even imagine.
She is hoping to work with women trapped in abusive relationships.
She was devastated because she had relied on Jordan for comfort and he misused her trust and caused her a great deal of pain.
A welfare organization will be set up in Evie’s name, to honor her memory as her parents grieve the loss of their daughter.
The baby has been in foster care; she nearly 9-year-old has been kept out of court and no pictures of her have been released, hoping she will have a somewhat normal life, despite what happened in her early life.
Conclusion
Jordan Monaghan was a deceptive psychopath who enjoyed killing his children. This also stemmed from his fear of rejection and the fact that he was unable to stabilize himself from a breakup.
The idea of psychopaths is romanticized with shows like Dexter where they show high-functioning evil geniuses. Or else in contrast people think they exhibit some outwardly mad behavior.
Jordan is a true real-life example of a psychopath. He was a cold, merciless killer who had narcissistic tendencies and was highly manipulative. This case also highlights what domestic abuse can eventually lead to. Always be wary of red flags, if not, it can affect your kids and be a danger to your life.
